At Destiny International we are passionate about seeing God's Kingdom manifested on this Earth. We believe the Lord's Prayer is being answered as we see God's Kingdom come and His will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. We believe there has never been a greater time to be part of God's glorious work in the Earth.

God has given us a vision to take the Good News of the Kingdom to the ends of the Earth. Whether it is building orphanages in India, training Pastors in Asia, partnering with churches in Africa, or bringing the church to spiritual awakening in America, we are determined to fulfill God's command until the Great Commission is accomplished.

Pastor Barry and Amy

     Pastor Barry and Amy Clingan reside in Trophy Club, Texas, where Barry is the Senior Pastor of The Church at Trophy Lakes, a church he helped restart in the fall of 2004. Barry and Amy have five children: Jacob, who attends school in Tennessee; Jenny, who is in Heaven; and Jordan, Jessie Kate and Joy.

     Pastor Barry experienced a dramatic conversion while a senior in high school under the crusade ministry of Evangelist James Robison. He immediately began sharing his testimony and preached his first sermon within months of his conversion. Barry is a graduate of Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee, and the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has completed post-graduate doctoral seminars at several institutions.

     He has served as a management consultant for corporations and small businesses in strategic and operational planning. He has led personality-training seminars for over 100 organizations all across the country. His primary calling and gifting is as a pastor. He has pastored churches of every size, from the small country church to the mega-church, from the small town to the large city, and from the established churches to new churches. Barry is a proven church-builder.

     Pastor Barry has traveled widely in South America, Europe, Asia and Africa strengthening pastors, Christian workers and believers.

     In 1994, Discover Your Destiny with Pastor Barry Clingan was launched primarily as a radio and television ministry. The program scored double digit Neilson ratings in a local market beating such shows as Good Morning America and The Today Show. Today, under the larger umbrella of Destiny International, Inc., Pastor Barry has three broad goals:  

1. To continue training international pastors with the Destiny Pastoral Training Institute. These weeklong seminars will focus on traning international pastors in the basics of preaching and ministry. These seminars will bring much-needed basic training to God-called and anointed pastors who have no opportunity for pastoral training.
2. To be a catalyst for spiritual awakening in the church by partnering with local churches and pastors to create an environment that attracts the presence of God. We will use www.BarryClingan.org as a central communication mechanism for ministry events and teaching resources and ultimately as a delivery system for streaming audio and video.
3. To reach out to the poor by sponsoring and building orphanages in impoverished international areas.
