The Book of Haggai contains a powerful revelation for believers of every generation. I believe it contains a revelation that is specifically applicable to the church in this season.

The word is Reposition. We are commanded as believers by our Lord to pray,

“Your will be done, Your kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven.”

I believe as the believer and correspondingly as the church, positions themselves in alignment with heaven God’s resources begin to flow into their midst. As we Reposition ourselves into the will of God, we reposition ourselves into God’s favor.

We reposition ourselves so that the Kingdom of God can be experienced!

The ancient Book of Haggai is probably the single most applicable book of the Bible that corresponds with our present age. The people had prioritized their own house over the house of God. They could never be blessed and God could never be glorified as long as their priorities were out of order.

Today, we allow our business, our recreation, soccer games, baseball games, just about anything come before our commitment to the gathering of God’s people. Haggai is a stern rebuke to our generation to reposition ourselves so God can once again manifest the glory of His presence on His people.

I have identified six steps from the ancient Book of Haggai we must take to reposition ourselves into alignment with heaven.
